I believe I am suppose to start off by saying “Hello”. Now that we have that out of the way, lets get down to it. Lipstick N Motherhood came to me one random day when I realized I stopped feeling beautiful. Before we start the woe is me sob fest, let me stop and say that wasn’t the case. I mean I stopped putting the time and care I put into my self and put it into my child, husband, home, work and everything else BUT myself. Not a bad thing but not always a good thing either. We as moms, wives, sisters, aunts, grandmas……..as freaking women should always feel beautiful and feel a sense of balance. I started Lipstick N Motherhood as a way for me to express myself and connect with other women. To share my good, bad, ugly, sad and what ever else type of mood or story I wanna share to let you know that NO ONE has it together, and we can all be beautiful in our own worlds of chaos. As a very wise lady once said “On a bad day there’s always lipstick”- Audrey Hepburn.
